Adapting to Istanbul Weather

“I came to Istanbul in 2021 for studying. At first, I could not adapt much to Istanbul’s weather because it was somewhat different from my country’s weather, but over time I began to adapt. One of the seasons that I admire most in Istanbul is spring. The weather is sunny and at the same time, it is not that hot.

The diversity of tourist and recreational places in the spring are great. It may be an important reason for my admiration for this season as well. In the spring, a tourist or student can do many activities that cannot be done in another season. In the spring I prefer to visit parks and mountainous places because I love adventures. I also like to go camping and explore new areas.

Adapting to Turkish Cuisine

It is fun to have some specific foods, such as grilled food, and it is very easy to adapt to the different cuisine. I feel that it has a different taste in this atmosphere. One of the things that I saw for the first time and that surprised me in the Istanbul weather is the variation in temperatures. On some days the weather in the morning is very hot, and the night becomes very cold.

I miss the temperate weather in my country, Lebanon because you cannot predict the weather in Istanbul. This winter, I was surprised because the weather was so cold, and I did not expect this much snow to fall.

The experience of adapting to the weather is a beautiful experience that the student will get used to after a short time.
