Erasmus at Istanbul Aydın University

Erasmus is one of vital branches of EU- Lifelong Learning Program (LLP) as it covers undergraduate and postgraduate studies in universities. The Erasmus program at Istanbul Aydın University was established to increase the quality and reinstate European standards of higher education. Moreover, they encourage cooperation between universities. This helps to increase student and staff mobility between the European institutions.

Requirements to apply

Students who want to take advantage of this, can contact the ERASMUS office in Istanbul Aydin University. After, examining the universities with Erasmus agreements with the departments, the students can make their applications.

Students should follow the Erasmus announcements on the website and make their applications accordingly. They have to make the application previous to the academic year they want to go. The deadline is stated on the announcement section for each academic year.

All applications are evaluated according to the criteria that is specified, and finally the results are announced on the notice boards or on the website.

Who can apply?

The one applying should be a full time registered student at the university.
Should have successfully completed first year of the degree program before Erasmus+ mobility.
For associate and bachelor degree students, they should have a minimum of 2.20/4.00 GPA.
For Master’s and Ph.D. students, a minimum of 2.50/4.00 GPA is required.
Applicants must attend Erasmus English written and oral exams.
All documents must be delivered on time to the Erasmus office on time.

Students can also be awarded financial grants to assist them on their stay in the other countries during their study period. Moreover, you can also extend your Erasmus period in the host country if you wish.
