Erasmus at Istanbul Medipol University understands that students should be given the platform to improve their self-confidence and intercultural knowledge through their time spent abroad. Due to this, they are providing opportunities to the students through Erasmus. This is an EU program designed to offer formal and non-formal education to students as they study at partner universities.
Erasmus features
Erasmus enables students, teachers, and institutions in around 31 European countries to study a part of their degree in another country. The students who join the program, do an internship for at least 3 months in another European country. The period a student spends abroad will be recognized by them as long as the student abides by the terms agreed.
Istanbul Medipol University mentions that the Erasmus studies can be given in the native language of the country or English. Apart from that, the student does not pay any extra tuition fees to the university they go to. Additionally, a grant can also be applied for which helps cover additional expenses while living abroad. Istanbul Medipol University has also established agreements with multiple European Higher Education and has acquired the Erasmus+ University Charter.
Minimum Requirements
1- Students who want to apply for the ERASMUS+ program should be registered as full-degree students.
2- Undergraduates who apply for this program should have at least a 2.20 CGPA. Moreover, graduate students should have at least a 2.50 CGPA out of 4.0.
3- The student who applies must have an intermediate level of language instruction at the institution.
4- 50% of the CGPA and 50% of the language test score are taken into account while selecting potential ERASMUS students.
