Erasmus Program
The Erasmus program is a European Union training and education program that aims to expand the quality of education in Europe. Therefore, the mobility activities and partnerships help promote this, as they are also financially supported by the program as well.
The study mobility program offers the student to study abroad in a European country for a period of 2 months to 1 year. Students pay their regular tuition fees at Özyeğin University and take advantage of the tuition fee waiver at the host institution. The university usually recommends any potential applicants from undergraduate programs to apply for an exchange semester in their second year. On the other hand, graduate students have the option to apply in their first year of study.
Application Criteria
- The applicant should be a full time student at the university.
- If they are an undergraduate student, then a minimum of 2.20/4.00 CGPA is required.
- For graduate students, a minimum of 3.00/4.00 CGPA is needed.
- Minimum of 75/100 high school graduation grades required for first year students
- Should have a valid score (minimum of 60/100 points) from the Erasmus Language Exam (ELE)
- Should submit a resume.
- Must have left with a minimum of 30 ECTS credits on graduation.
Other things to take into consideration are that the evaluation is based on the Erasmus score. The Erasmus score will be 50% of the CGPA along with 50% of the ELE score.
