Leen Morad decided to throw light on making food alone in Turkey. Usually, when we meet with medical students, we ask them about their specialization, their difficulties, and the quality of their studies, but this time, we wanted to break the routine and talk to Leen Morad about the student’s relationship with Leen Morad in the kitchen and cooking. Leen Morad is a medicine student, who completed her registration with Studykoy educational agency at Istanbul Medipol University.
Making food alone in Turkey
She says: “After a short period of my stay in Istanbul, I learned to buy my needs from stores such as Bim, A101, etc. at a discounted price instead of always eating out. I found that cooking with my colleagues and friends became a very special time for me. It made eating more enjoyable. I often enjoy preparing pasta with minced meat. Leen says that she didn’t find Turkish cuisine up to her taste, as she often misses her country’s food. The dishes she would like to eat once she returns to her country are Mansaf, Fatteh, Maharshi and many others.” Overall, it is a good experience to make food alone in Turkey, as it has taught her a lot.
