Student clubs

The first thing that catches your eyes about the university is the constant energy and mobility. There is an activity every hour of the day. Moreover, with a total number of 91 student clubs, Istanbul Aydin University aims to mold young individuals into future leaders. There are more than a thousand cultural and social events organized by the student clubs. Apart from that, there are approximately 36 research centers each year. From music club to women in business club, there are numerous clubs that students can choose from. Ethics and Animal rights club, Journalism, Photography, Young thinkers etc. Additionally, all have a united purpose of helping students recognize their potential and find like-minded people in order to grow.

An instructor is assigned to guide each and every student club. The student clubs inform the Department of Health, Culture and Sports about their activities and ask for necessary approval for any activities. The financial support is duly given by institution, and various sponsors.

Sports at Istanbul Aydın University

Furthermore, Istanbul Aydın University emphasizes greatly on the importance of sports as they should go hand in hand with education. Sports such as kickboxing, karate, football, basketball, snowboarding are one of the many sports that are played in the university. The athletes of the university have also brought numerous medals to the school in various sports. The university teams have won 6 championships, 2 second runner-up positions and 4 runner-up positions, all with a total of 12 cups. 68 silver medals, 38 bronze medals and 65 gold medals have also been won. The university puts great deal of effort and care to provide all the athletes with the best opportunities by working with professional coaches and implementing sports in student activities

Tekno Center

The technology center is a brand-new complex established to provide scientific and rich atmosphere to students. In this way, students can contribute to industrial developments. Besides, there are numerous workshops for training and 12 laboratories. The Tekno center is also open to industrial companies to conduct research and analysis.
