History

The university was established in 2007 through a distinguished educational staff on its campus located in Küçükçekmece in the Sefaköy region. Adopting the slogan (Istanbul Arel University, the contemporary education for youth), the university worked to provide modern and advanced education. This is to secure all the modern needs of the student. Moreover, keeping pace with the times to make university education meet international quality standards. Additionally, in the year 2019-2020, the new campus was opened in Cevizlibağ. Additionally, this is dedicated to the Faculty of Medicine and other health institutes.

Vision

The university aims to conduct research, education, and social service activities with international quality standards. Moreover, their vision is to become an internationally recognized institution that can identify the cultural, social, technological, and economic requirements that carry out any kind of reserach and professional activities that can help in national progress.

Academic Structure

Istanbul Arel University has a total of 8 faculties with +40 bachelor’s degree programs, +28 masters degree programs, +7 doctorate degree programs, and +39 associate degree programs.

Campus

The university has a total of 3 campuses in the city of Istanbul. Furthermore, all the campuses are equipped with state-of-the-art technology along with all modern facilities. The campuses are the following:

1- Kemal Gözükara Campus (Büyükçekmece)

2- Sefaköy Campus (Küçükçekmece)

3- Cevizlibağ Campus (Zeytinburnu)
