Bahcesehir University understands the core values of building soft skills valued by future employers. Students are able to improve their communication and intercultural skills. Within the scope of ERASMUS agreement, a total of 36 bilateral agreements are present in 22 different European countries. Students who are able to qualify for this, receive a monthly stipend from the EU.

This support is transferred from the Turkish National Agency right to the university and then to the students. Every year, nearly 190 students are selected each year. Among those students, an average number of 35 students from Engineering are rewarded with grants from the total quota of 190. Students can also apply for an internship during the summer or after graduation. Bahcesehir University often chooses 2 internship students from each faculty from the school every year.

Selection Criteria

The student must have completed his/her 1st semester of their 1st year at the university with satisfactorily grades.
A minimum of 2.20 GPA is required for undergraduate students and for graduate students, it must be 2.50.
The student’s score on the English Proficiency Test.
The candidate must not have any kind of remaining credit or responsibilities due to the university.
Graduate students (ones who are in their thesis semester), must contact the partner university and find a thesis advisor from that university.

Erasmus at Bahcesehir University considers 50% of GPA and 50% of the English Proficiency Test score while selecting the candidates.
